I am an old, old, BSD fan (I begun doing Unix programming in 1990 on Suns 2 based on 68020/68881 FPU/68851 MMU processors). Had a lot of fun on Atari ST/TT/Falcon machines (I am the author of the early DSP demo app called "Audio Fun Machine" that was packed with every Falcon sold), then I switched to NetBSD/Intel and finally to MacOS four years ago. Albeit I love 68000 ASM, nowadays I mostly program in Objective-C and Python.

I am now chief editor of a French magazine dedicated to GIS and geomatics, and as such I take care of many GIS related ports, as well as some general scientific libraries. I am also assistant professor of GIS and CS/Python in a French college.
