No sound from Jack (10.6)

Hi,

I have installed the Jack port and although this superficially appears to be running I can't get any audio output -

~ % jackd -d coreaudio -l
jackd 0.116.2

(...no output)

Any ideas ?

Is this reproducible with 0.118.0_1?

I am able to reproduce this issue using jackd 0.121.3 on OSX 10.6.8.
