GNU Emacs 22.3 with freetype @2.3.12

I managed to overwrite the Portfile (from a Time Machine backup) and built and installed and activated freetype @2.3.12. I also had to deactivate xorg-server-devel @1.8.99.904_1 in order to make xorg-server-devel @1.8.99.904_0 launch which uses freetype @2.3.12. Here is a screen-shot.

That's not how you install an older version of a port. For instructions, see the InstallingOlderPort how-to document.
