sshfs @2.3 (and macfuse @2.0.3) fails to load kext under Lion

Description

After installation, an attempt to invoke sshfs results in: 

/Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext failed to load - (libkern/kext) requested architecture/executable not found; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8).
the MacFUSE file system is not available (71)

which 

9/2/11 1:45:35.735 PM com.apple.kextd: Can't load /Library/Filesystems/fusefs.fs/Support/fusefs.kext - no code for running kernel's architecture.

macfuse is obsolete and doesn't work on Lion.

@dports: Shouldn't the default dependency be fuse4x now?

Yes, you'll need to uninstall macfuse and install fuse4x instead. fuse4x is now the default, as of r83483. macfuse also now refuses to install on 64-bit kernel systems (r83484).
