I'm calling this a request until you actually attach the Portfile to the ticket.

comment:3 Changed 11 years ago by jessekornblum@…

Trac won't let me upload the file.

comment:4 Changed 11 years ago by jessekornblum@…

When I attempt to upload the file, I get a page "Trac Error" with nothing else on it.

comment:5 Changed 11 years ago by jessekornblum@…

Attempting to copy and paste the Portfile into a comment window has the same result, too. A blank screen with "Trac Error" on it.

comment:6 Changed 11 years ago by jessekornblum@…

Trac is not letting me upload the Portfile. I have posted it to http://jessekornblum.com/tmp/Portfile

comment:7 Changed 11 years ago by mf2k (Frank Schima)

That does not make any sense. You were able to create new Trac comments just now. Maybe there are some invalid characters in the Portfile text???

I just attached the file provided by Jesse and it worked without problems.

Your attachment has strings which match the spam black list like "credit_card" (without the underscore).

Ah! Thank you for the explanation!

Thanks for the port. Is flex really needed at runtime? Usually it's only a build dependency.

comment:13 Changed 11 years ago by jessekornblum@…

Ah, yes, you're correct. Flex is needed for build, but not at runtime.

comment:14 Changed 11 years ago by jessekornblum@…

FWIW, I agree to maintain this port.

Thanks; added in r105079 with these changes:

  • made flex a build dependency as discussed above
  • fixed port whitespace (tabs to spaces, realigned columns)
  • fixed livecheck
  • used github portgroup (doesn't accomplish much, but maybe in the future the developers will use tags properly, which would remove the need for a custom livecheck)
  • don't install the INSTALL file; it only tells the user how to install the software, which is something MacPorts has already accomplished for the user by that point
Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
