BUG: php4-4.4.4 doesn't install correctly due to filename collisions

Reported by: mitsu@… Owned by: jyrkiwahlstedt

Component: ports Version:

Description

When I attempted to install the php4 port (the first time and every subsequent attempt), I get a series of "file already exists" errors for a number of files, for example, /opt/local/lib/php4/.channels/.alias/pear.txt, /opt/local/lib/php4/.channels/uri.reg, etc. It would report the file was already there, but didn't belong to a registered port, so it would fail. I had to delete the file and try to install again, when it would complain about the next file, etc.

After deleting all the colliding files I was able to get the port to install.

This happened, as noted, the first time I tried to install the port, so it appears to be due to a bug in the port itself (is it attempting to install the same files more than once?)
