py-wxpython can't build because wxwidgets-devel has higher version number

py-wxpython 2.8.1.1 contains references to files (at least srchctrl.h) that are not available in wxwidgets 2.8.0, but 2.8.1 has disappeared from the wxwidgets-devel line to be replaced by 2.9. See #11342.
All versions of wxPython have been broken for me since 2.6.3.

py-wxpython does not currently depend on wxWidgets-devel, but wxWidgets (2.8.3), so please sync

Still blocking py-wxpython after updating wxWidgets-devel to 2007-02-08_1 (nominally wxWidgets 2.9).
py-wxpython still wants 2.8, but it also wants to include files (at least wx/srchctrl.h) that are not present in wxWidgets 2.8.0_0. The wxwidgets config utility is from version 2.9, but happily points the wxpython build at the old 2.8 installation since that's what is requested.
