ncarg missing source file

Hello,

While attempting to install "ncarg +gcc45" the following error message occured: 

/Users/ingebj> sudo port install ncarg +gcc45
--->  Computing dependencies for ncarg
--->  Fetching ncarg
Error: Download ncl_ncarg_src-5.2.1.tar.gz manually and place it in /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ncarg.

Error: Target org.macports.checksum returned: ncl_ncarg_src-5.2.1.tar.gz does not exist in /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/ncarg

So the only way to install ncarg is to manually fetch the source file from NCAR??

Yes. The developers of ncarg have decided that you must register for an account on their web site before you can download the software, so that is what you must do.
