"A current version" would be 3.6rc1, for reference:

bugzilla seems to have been updated (port version: 2.22.3, new version: 3.6rc1)

The 2.22.3 version is broken as well.

Running checksetup.pl, I get 

Checking user setup ...
Precompiling templates ...
Not a subroutine reference at Bugzilla/Template.pm line 59.
Compilation failed in require at ./checksetup.pl line 1270.
