Description
Fetching vim takes several hours beacause of wrong primary mirror
http://lil.fr.distfiles.macports.org/vim/7.3_1 does not work, but http://distfiles.macports.org/vim/7.3_1 works
WORKAROUND - put into your /etc/hosts
17.254.20.244 lil.fr.distfiles.macports.org

If you're having problems connecting to lil.fr.distfiles.macports.org, please try to disable IPv6 via
sudo ip6 -x
Mac OS X is dealing quite stupidly with broken IPv6 setups and prefers v6.

In what way does the lil.fr mirror not work for you? It works for me.
MacPorts picks which server to download from in order of ping time; apparently lil.fr had a low ping time from your location.
