I remember this type of error. dolt was using syntax incompatible with Tiger's older version of Bash. goffice 0.8.17 is available; we should update the port to that. If that doesn't fix it, I'll look up what the fix for this was and write a patch.

I have updated goffice to 0.8.17. Did that help you? FYI, I was able to build 0.8.12 and 0.8.17 without problem on Tiger.

I am still getting the exact same error with 0.8.17.

I'm sorry I forgot about this ticket, but it looks like all use of dolt has been removed from goffice in version 0.9.0 so this problem will go away when we update goffice.
