p5.12-locale-gettext @1.50.0 +universal - Configure Failure

Reported by: valbox@… Owned by: macports-tickets@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 2.1.1
Keywords: Cc: ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt)
Port: p5.12-locale-gettext

Description

Hello,

I'm trying to install Wine using MacPorts.
It requires the package p5.12-locale-gettext, the one I wrote in the title of the ticket.
It tries to install it, but it crashes at the configuration :

Error: org.macports.configure for port p5.12-locale-gettext returned: configure failure: list element in braces followed by """ instead of space

I searched a lot on the Web, but I couldn't find a way to solve my problem.
I tried to install it without the "+universal" variant.
Configuration worked, but of course Wine needs this variant to be set, so it tries to install it and it fails.

I submit the log file.

Thanks for your Help.

Sorry, I forgot to say that I'm running under Snow Leopard with Xcode 3.2.1. I'm currently downloading Xcode 3.2.6, namely the last version for my OS.

Already fixed in r94981. See #35058. "sudo port clean p5.12-locale-gettext", "sudo port selfupdate", and try again.

Thanks, it seems that it's working now. Sorry for the other post, I really didn't find it when I looked for a solution. Anyway thank you very much.
