This should probably go against the wxWindows port instead (wxGTK should be removed), since wxWindows has a variant for GTK; CC'ing others for it.

Markus, Robert, thoughts about the patch (since I don't even have either GTK installed)?

I just checked and it looks like no other port requires wxgtk - I'd say, let's remove it; or perhaps if an explicit wxgtk is required, update it to 2.6.x and make it non-conflicting with wxWidgets.
