I think. Or the build requires compilers more recent than GCC 4.0 and GCC 4.2. I can’t really tell.

There doesn’t seem to be much chance that they’re going to start supporting 10.5, so I restricted the port in r104169. If anyone can test on a 10.5 system, or if upstream changes their minds, I’d be more than happy to undo it.
