metis @5.1.0 (math) error: unrecognized command line option "-Wno-unused-but-set-variable"

The other ticket I opened last week #38775 was closed but the error is still there. Don't know how to reopen it so starting a new one.

What I did:

sudo port uninstall metis
--->  Deactivating metis @5.0.2_1
--->  Cleaning metis
--->  Uninstalling metis @5.0.2_1
--->  Cleaning metis

sudo port install metis
--->  Computing dependencies for metis
--->  Fetching archive for metis
