Description
See the attached diff.
cppcheck now includes config files that have to be stored at a location selected by the package maintainer, according to this post on the cppcheck forums. So I put them into eg. /opt/local/share/cppcheck or whatever your prefix happens to be. I hope this is okay...

If these config files are intended to be altered by end users, they need to be handled specially.
Done! The config files are now called *.cfg.dist and copied in post-activate if needed. I replaced the attached diff.

Cppcheck 1.64 was released, so I updated the diff again...
It seems as if the maintainer is not reachable. What is the procedure to get this going without him?

I am listed as the current maintainer, but do not have time to maintain it. I am happy to have someone else become the maintainer or set maintainer to nomaintainer@… so anyone can commit.
