Description

thrift-devel previously used the svn repository. This update pulls from the up-to-date git repository instead. In particular, this pulls from the March 1 state of the master branch.

I presume there have been updates to thrift since this patch was proposed, as the thrift port (0.10.0, released 2017) now appears more up-to-date than thrift-devel. Should the thrift-devel be updated, or discontinued?

thrift-devel: mark obsolete, replace with thrift

Port has not been updated since 2012; efforts to update it were
never incorporated. The version used by the thrift port is newer.
