Cc: ryandesign@… added
Description: modified (diff)
Owner: changed from macports-tickets@… to css@…
Port: cmake added
Summary: fails to build cmakecmake @2.8.9 build failure

Please remember to use WikiFormatting, fill in the port field, and Cc the maintainer of that port.

The log shows you're trying to build cmake @2.8.9. The current version of cmake in MacPorts is @, which suggests you haven't updated your port definitions in many months. Please run:

sudo port selfupdate
sudo port upgrade outdated

Then try building cmake again, if the above hasn't done so already. It builds fine for me on Mavericks and hopefully will build for you as well.

Thanks. I have followed your suggestion, and cmake is installed now.
