After applying the update from #43845, build fails on SL (#40900 perhaps) and Mavericks buildbots.

Build succeeds on Lion and ML.

Apparently a transient fetch failure on Mavericks as it worked ok when I forced another build on the bots. However, SL continues to fail with configure error

which is the same error as #40900. Closing as duplicate.
