I can't get this to build unless I reinplace 'sstaticdynamic|g' in the post-configured Makefile (under

$LDFLAGS).

on 10.3 10.4 xcode 2.0 or 2.1.

Do you have a more elegant way of doing this?

Sorry, I have not had enough time to check it on a clean system. I just checked if my portfile works or not, on clean-installed 10.4.2 system with xcode 2.1 and DarwinPorts 1.1 (of course selfupdated). My portfles, of both ver. 0.5.6 I submitted before and ver. 0.9.0, turned out to work fine. So, I have no idea why you couldn't compile it well.

Do you have any hints?

comment:4 Changed 19 years ago by yeled@…

which gcc are you using?

comment:5 Changed 19 years ago by pelopor@…

I'm using gcc-4.0.0 on my PB G4 1.5Mhz/15".

$ gcc_select Current default compiler: gcc version 4.0.0 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 5026)

$ port version Version: 1.101

All I've installed on my testing system are libiconv, zlib, qdbm, and hyperestraier. What else should I tell?

Created an attachment (id=4619) [edit] Update from ver. 0.9.0 to ver. 1.0.4

It works well in my environment..

Committed version bump to 1.1.4, which resolved build concerns. Tested on 10.4.5. This can be closed.
