I've no idea if the new SS is compatible with Octave or any other port that depends on it. Also no idea if the patch for 4.4.4 works for the latest. Need to do some testing!

    1 SuiteSparse has been moved to a homepage/master_site (university). The current version is now 4.4.4.

    3 Two patch files need updating, and there was a permissions issue with the SPQR tree.

    5 Note: I rolled back to SuiteSparse @4.2.1_0, as octave 3.8.2 did not cleanly rebuild, while dolfin did.
