Description

New port of x265.

x265 is a free software library and application for encoding video streams into the H.265/MPEG-H HEVC compression format, and is released under the terms of the GNU GPL.

Usually we use the cmake 1.0 portgroup for ports that build with cmake. Is there a reason that wasn't done here?

No, I just didn't know that. Here is a new portfile which uses the portgroup.

If the port supports building out of source, please add cmake.out_of_source yes. It's not the default yet because we're still in a transition period with the cmake PortGroup.

Resolution: fixed
Status: newclosed

Committed in r138529 with the following changes:

  • Obfuscated the maintainer address as recommended by port lint --nitpick
  • Changes depends_build to depends_build-append to avoid overwriting (and thus removing) the build dependency on cmake
  • Added an rmd160 checksum -- we mandate two checksums types, just in case one of the algorithms can no longer be considered secure in the future
