Description

Hi,

I have an error when I run the command sudo port upgrade outdated (after -v selfupdate)

the error is:

Error: org.macports.fetch for port openssl returned: fetch failed
Please see the log file for port openssl for details:
    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_devel_openssl/openssl/main.log
Error: Unable to upgrade port: 1

In the future, please fill in the Port field with the port that fails to build and Cc the port maintainers (port info --maintainers openssl), if any.

I doubt this is something we can do anything about.

Please see the log file for port openssl for details:

in any case could you explain me why this error is coming? it is related to a specific program?

The log says the fetch failed because "407 Proxy Authentication Required". This is something specific to your network. You may need to configure your Mac (in System Preferences) with the specifics of the proxy server you're using.
