I agree. Additionally, the patch is now outdated because I added a patchfile.

The patch is outdated, and I have no interest in updating it, nor actually applying it.

I don't like how this affects readability just for the sake of supporting Linux, which is unsupported. This should use a
platform linux {}block instead, applying the necessary changes with-appendand-delete.
