libgpod 0.8.3_0 staging into destroot fails, python2.7 not there

Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))

I am on El Capitan and using MacPorts for the first time. What I am trying to do is "sudo port install amarok". The process fails with libgpod:

--->  Staging libgpod into destroot
Error: org.macports.destroot for port libgpod returned: error renaming "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_libgpod/libgpod/work/destroot/opt/local/lib/python2.7": no such file or directory
Please see the log file for port libgpod for details:
    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_multimedia_libgpod/libgpod/main.log

This seems to be a duplicate of #42874 however the solution posted there (port clean libgpod; port selfupdate; port install amarok) did not solve the problem.

I have attached the main.log file for libgpod.

Looks like swig-python is required. If swig is present but swig-python is not, there is a build failure. If neither are present, the failure is in the post-destroot block.
