We cannot know for sure what the problem is unless you attach the main.log file mentioned in the error message. But it is probable that you're experiencing the same problem everyone else with Xcode 7.2 is experiencing with aquaterm, which is described in #50040 and ProblemHotlist#xcode7.2.

    2324I understand that the issue is probably associated with aquaterm - but I just can't build it, I tried to install it from source forge as a dmg. file, but the console does not recognise it when I type "aquaterm --version"
