Description
Hello - am very new to Macports so pardon the ignorance: I ran the commands to install PSPP and ChemKit. Both proceeded without error. However, when I try to open the executables in the bin folder, they don't open. I can't seem to find the right files to get the application to work. How do I do this?
I've tried cleaning, all the alternative methods of installation, etc. When I open the executable pspp.exec it says it's implementing but i've kept it open for some time and it doesn't open. In the process of installing these apps, it successfully installed Python and Qt4 to my macports folder and launchpad but the other ones are not there. What am I doing wrong?
How do I make these apps work?

PSPP can be launched by running
pspp
in Terminal. The GUI (if the +gui variant was installed) is available in /Applications/MacPorts or by runningpsppire
in the Terminal. There should be no file named
pspp.exec
.
