hdf5-18-1.8.16_3+cxx+hl+openmpi: builds Ok but fails while staging with missing h5cc — at Initial Version

Description
Installation of upgraded hdf-18 (previous version was hdf5 @1.8.16_2+cxx+gcc49+hl+openmpi) fails with missing h5cc
Required as dependency when doing
sudo port upgrade netcdf +dap+netcdf4+openmpi
End of main.log gives:
