The port is broken: 

./configure: line 13546: syntax error near unexpected token `OPENSSL,'
./configure: line 13546: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(OPENSSL, libcrypto >= 0.9.7, have_openssl="yes", have_openssl="no")'
Command failed:  cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_bblocal_var_buildworker_ports_build_ports_security_pkcs11-helper/pkcs11-helper/work/pkcs11-helper-1.11" && ./configure --prefix=/opt/local

That requires a separate ticket, but I'll let you handle that.

Please file a ticket. It built fine for me. 

$ port installed pkcs11-helper
