Fail to execute "sudo port install gnuradio"

Hi, I was unable to install GNU radio on my mac, the problem is as follows. 

--->  Fetching distfiles for doxygen
--->  Verifying checksums for doxygen
--->  Extracting doxygen
--->  Applying patches to doxygen
--->  Configuring doxygen
--->  Building doxygen
Error: org.macports.build for port doxygen returned: command execution failed
Error: Failed to install doxygen
Please see the log file for port doxygen for details:
    /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_textproc_doxygen/doxygen/main.log

Any help would be appreciated.

The log says: 

:info:build IOError: [Errno 24] Too many open files: '/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_textproc_doxygen/doxygen/work/doxygen-1.8.10/templates/html/resize.js'

This, combined with the fact that gnuradio has hundreds of dependencies, makes me think this is a duplicate of #50986.

To work around it, install some of gnuradio's dependencies manually first.
