Description

When trying to install vlc (port -d install vlc -x11 +quartz) I get the following error: 

checking for libavutil variant... ffmpeg
checking for AVCODEC... yes
configure: error: libavutil versions 55 and later are not supported.

I found no variant the seems to work around this issue.
