I'm seeing the following errors when installing TexShop3 on my Mac laptop: 

/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_aqua_TeXShop3/TeXShop3/work/texshopsource388/Sources/TSDocument.m:1793:17: error: 'release' is unavailable: not available in automatic reference counting mode
                dispatch_release(dispatch_source);

(This error is repeated twice).

I have attached the verbose log generated by port -v install TexShop3.

Let me guess: you upgraded to Xcode 9?

I'm having this build issue on my work MBP as well.

I'll contact the upstream maintainer.

Yes, I did upgrade to Xcode 9 recently.

Thanks for the quick response. Let's hope the upstream maintainer is as proactive.
