libsdl2 must be installed without +x11

Description

In High Sierra 10.13.4 and MacPorts 2.4.3, when I updated everything seemed to complete, including gimp. However, gimp is not present on my system now, and when I try to install it, I get the following. 

MacBook:Sites acme$ sudo port install gimp
--->  Computing dependencies for gimp
The following dependencies will be installed: 
 ffmpeg
 gegl
 gimp-app
 gimp-jp2
 gimp-lqr-plugin
 gimp2
 gutenprint
 ufraw
 xsane

Error: Failed to configure ffmpeg: libsdl2 must be installed without +x11.

I have tried cleaning both ffmpeg and libsdl2, but that does not resolve the issue.

Summary: libsd12 must be installed without +x11 → libsdl2 must be installed without +x11

It seems like libsdl2 is not installed +x11 by default on macOS. Did you custom install that variant?
