Error: Failed to fetch gcc44: unsupported platform

I have followed the instructions with "port clean ..." etc, without success.

I needed to install gcc44 for the OpenModelica port.

Please use WikiFormatting!

Unfortunately, the error says everything: gcc44 is not supported on your version of macOS!

You should check for open tickets for OpenModelica regarding the compiler.

OpenModelica is not in Macports.

Milestone: MacPorts 2.6.0

Openmodelica has it's own repo system appended on to MacPorts, and uses all MacPorts infrastructure.

But gcc44 is not needed for it. If you need gcc, on Mojave you need to use a new gcc version, like 6 or 7 or 8 or newer.

The older versions just don't build on Mojave.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
