inkscape @0.92.4_1+x11 launches but does not function. Running on Mojave

Inkscape launches. Menus appear work area is a black box. Cannot open a file, nav items appear but no files appear. I can drag and drop image but nothing appears. No errors except when I exit and launch.

I did a clean install and made sure everything is updated. I tried to find and remove all X11 xQuartz preference files.

I fixed my problem by uninstalling everything and only installing inkscape. I think the issue was I had GTK2 +quartz and I need x11.,
