The maintainer is still active on MacPorts, but I think these ports have become neglected. The following tickets are open for them: #26635, #26637, #26916, #31312, #55370. Some of these were issues which have since been fixed upstream, but the ports were never updated.
One member, after unsuccessfully attempting to update them, has suggested the possibility of deleting these: ticket:31312#comment:4
I think at a minimum it may be desirable to discontinue yap-devel in favor of having only one port to maintain.
Paulo, are you still interested in maintaining these ports?

@pmoura: Thank you for confirming. I have removed you as maintainer for these ports.
Would you be willing to add - just as a comment in this ticket - descriptions of the variants? They are not in the Portfile and not clear to me. Also, is there a reason to not always enable the +tabling and +condor variants?
I found too many issues compiling YAP versions outside MacPorts and my estimate is that up-to-date portfiles would require a level of patching that I don't have the time (and likely the skills) to sort out. I will not be updating the portfiles anytime soon. If anyone is wiling to take over those updates, please do.
