Avahi-daemon fails to start on catalina

Description
It appears as though avahi-daemon wants to create a directory at /run/avahi-daemon when it starts. On catalina, / is now read-only, and this fails.
It seems like there isn't a way to change the path that avahi wants to create this directory from the command line. I suspect that it'll have to be changed when the package is compiled.
I tested the same port in Mojave, and it doesn't hit this problem.
Finally, there are a few obsolete keys in the launchd plist that need to be updated.
