I'm a novice, so my questions are from ignorance and not from arrogance. I'm lost as to the difference between a .rtf file and the plain-text format. Can you help me understand how it affects the problem I raised to you, please? And can you tell me how to go about finding a build that works? I prefer the MacPorts version of this software and made the mistake of updating, which rendered me without Inkscape, altogether. I've been trying to build it in MacPorts for weeks now...
