Note that there is currently no maintainer listed in the osxfuse portfile, otherwise it would have been assigned to the appropriate party.

Updating osxfuse is complicated by the fact that it is no longer open-source.

There are many open tickets about osxfuse which updating the port would probably help.

Because the port has no maintainer, someone would have to volunteer to do the work to update the port.

This is not a straightforward port to update.

While I was aware of the licensing murkiness, I didn't realize the source code is no longer available on GitHub. Argh!
