I'm willing to take over the maintenance of this Port myself if nobody else is interested in it. Note that it doesn't work anymore without my patch, and new versions of the program have been released.

No need to enter a new bug for an abandonment report if a dated one already exists for the port in question, changing the summary line of the latter to reflect the abandoned status should suffice. Once CVS is back up I'll commit the patch in bug #5899 and also change the maintainer address, since the bug is about a month old and hasn't been atteneded to. You mind please uploading a patch as an attachment? Much easier to work with it like that.
In the mean time, I'm closing this one as invalid.
