The derived data messages in the log make this sound like #57137, however that wouldn't explain why you were able to build it before.

I see the same errors on the 10.15 builder after this commit:

https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/commit/4b43a62994a22c90be7dd0c96d570ad42accb48d

After the previous commit, everything was successful:

https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/commit/7898ece75cc7ef82e86c93a59c65351eb2b0db24

It appears that the last change broke something?

Yeah, seems like the last commit broke something - and if you look at it it's clear the derived data fix was removed. We should roll this commit back for sure.

iTerm2 has been non-installable for over a week. Can the offending commit please be reverted for the time being, so the app becomes usable again?

After trying to upgrade, now the prior version starts, but gives an error and won't open a terminal. So I can't upgrade or run the version that I had installed. I did download their binary installer and now I can run that one.

I reverted commit https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/commit/4b43a62994a22c90be7dd0c96d570ad42accb48d which should fix things for now. I'll have to look into whatever that was supposed to fix. I think a bad link.
