it also seems to build fine on the buildbots. py-scipy has been update in the meantime to version 1.7.2, does this problem still exists when you try to install it now?

I updated to version 1.7.2 and could successfully build py37-scipy. Thanks a lot!

I encounter this issue when running
restore_portsafter the update to 12, but am able to resolve it by uninstalling, cleaning and installingpy38-numpy.
