Component: ports Version:
Keywords: openssl3 Cc: stromnov@…
Port: py-cryptography

Description

With Python 3.9 and py39-cryptography installed:

from cryptography.hazmat.bindings._openssl import ffi, lib
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
ImportError: dlopen(/opt/local/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.9/lib/python3.9/site-packages/cryptography/hazmat/bindings/_openssl.abi3.so, 0x0002): symbol not found in flat namespace '_ERR_put_error'

This is used implicitly by many packages including Paramiko's SFTP client.
