Description

When I launch emacs-devel in X11 it opens a frame that stays empty. Maybe it's waiting for next sunrise?

I ended up using the variant -nativecomp: 

  emacs @29.1_1+x11 (active) requested_variants='+x11' platform='darwin 22' archs='x86_64' date='2023-08-07T13:06:34+0200'

The original problem with the X client has vanished over the years and versions.

This is an old ticket and can be closed. I still prefer -nativecomp. And no treesitter! (Aren't there chairs?)
