findutils @4.7.0_1 does not build on PPC Leopard, Mac OS X 10.5.8, because confdir3 tree cannot be removed

The installation was successful by patching configure to use confdir-14B---X instead of confdir-14B--- and confdir3Y instead of confdir3.

Let's please have just one ticket to cover this gnulib bug, not one ticket for each port affected by that bug, which is probably many. I haven't read all comments in all the bugs so I don't know if this bug is already known to the gnulib developers. If it isn't, please report it to them. If it is already known and fixed, but the fix has not made it into findutils or these other projects, then let's apply whatever the patch is to all the affected ports.

What I want to avoid, at least, is that every time this bug is filed against a new port, we try from scratch to analyze it and fix it. Since it's one broken piece of software (gnulib) causing the problem, we need one fix that we can consistently apply.
