It doesn't build on 12.2, though. if you happen to patch it before I get around to it, please upload the patch here or open a PR :)
Could you describe the problem you encountered, and maybe attach your WIP update? (When I tried I saw it's not as straightforward as just updating the version and checksums since there are patchfiles that no longer apply properly.)

missing symbols when linking, probably just needs to have some #includes added (and sent back upstream).
