problem with installing youtube-dl on mac os monterey 12.2

Description
i followed the instructions as said on https://ports.macports.org/port/youtube-dl/
and entered in the macOS terminal this code: sudo port install youtube-dl
but it asked pasword, there is an icon of a key under the code
what have i do now, i clicked a few times already and it says

It’s correct that it will ask you for your password, so just put it in and it should work. Since you have to supply your administrators password (which is likely the same as for your user account) it will not show this in the terminal. Just typenit in and press “Return” - all should be good in the world. If not please clarify what you’re doing, what the exact output is you see and of the post fails to build add the logfile that is mentioned in the error message.
