Checksum fails here ... And there is no checksum information on the website.

Weird, FreeBSD's port says:
MD5 (tea-11.0.tar.bz2) = b4fab8df40795be915f7f6288e55e2eb
Perhaps this archive has been changed a time or two but is still 11.0?

Damnit - software authors that does this trick should be slapped.

i got the correct checksum from the author ... and ofcourse Bryan was right - and I and just paranoid :-)
