In MacOs Monterey (arm64), I have this problem. I want to install Demeter.

please make sure to add the port maintainer to CC and use WikiFormatting (also, priority should be left to "Normal").

Additionally, add the main.log file mentioned in the error message as an attachment to this ticket, so one can actually see what the issue is.
