Description

The Hotfix for the CLI re-installation is missing one simple but important step: After removing the file that causes the Software Update to include the CLI items, add the following bullet: softwareupdate -l

That's the only thing this ticket is about, one bullet point. (Without the softwareupdate -l, the removal of the file won't have any effect, and the Software Update will continue to list the CLI versions.)

The instructions have always worked ok for me, but if you think they need correction, you are able to edit them; it is a ​wiki.
